2. Diatrizoate Meglumine and Diatrizoate Sodium Solution USP

Product Description

Name: Celiacimage M
Iodine content: 370 mg/ml
Indications:

Diatrizoate Meglumine and Diatrizoate Sodium Solution USP (Celiacimage M) is indicated for radiographic examination of segments of the gastrointestinal tract (esophagus, stomach, proximal small intestine and colon). The preparation is particularly indicated when a more viscous agent such as barium sulfate which is not water-soluble is not feasible or is potentially dangerous.

Celiacimage - M may also be used as an adjunct to contrast enhancement in computed tomography of the torso (body imaging); the preparation is indicated, in conjunction with intravenous administration of a radiopaque contrast agent, when unenhanced imaging may not provide sufficient definition in distinguishing normal loops of bowel from adjacent organs or areas of suspected pathology.

3. Diatrizoate Sodium Solution USP

Product Description

Name: Celiacimage
Iodine content: 249.64 mg/ml
Indications:
For Radiographic Examination of Segments of THE Gastrointestinal Tract. Devtrizoate is primarily indicated in cases in which the use of barium sulphate is not suitable or contraindicated and specially for the threatening perforation (peptic ulcer, diverticulum), Acute haemorrhage, suspected partial or complete stenosis, Other acute conditions which are likely to require surgery. After resection of the stomach or intestine (danger of perforation or leak), Megacolon, Visualization of a foreign body or tumor before endoscopy and to visualize gastro-colic fistula, besides these conditions Devtrizoate can generally be used for the same purpose as barium sulphate.
